We discuss the principles as they apply to drug addiction and recovery. Jason shares his journey through the professional and personal challenges and growth. Furthermore, he shares what he has seen about suffering, the impact of thoughts, and lasting change.Jason Shiers is a Certified Transformative Coach & Certified Psychotherapist. He has been working with addictions and mental health for over 20 years in evolving ways. After his own recovery started 27 years ago in 12 steps, he had been searching for something different. Four years ago, he found the work of Michael Neill and the 3 principles as uncovered by Sydney Banks. Ever since his life changed unrecognizably and Jason now teaches and shares the 3 principles in his work with addictions.  It made no sense to practice any other way, addiction no longer looked like something that needed a complex theory or diagnostic label to overcome. As a result, Jason realized people can spontaneously recover and change their lives from any mental health diagnosis to being happy joyous, and truly free. Mavis Karn: I had a new goal. And the new goal was not to help somebody, or figure them out or give advice. My new goal was to listen until I could hear what was in their heart.
